Hena was born in the State of New York until her family relocated to Miami, Florida where she spent her formative years. She attended St. Thomas University on a full academic scholarship majoring in political science and invited to become a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor society. She engaged in the University’s political debate team and graduated Summa Cum laude with her bachelor’s degree in political science.
Hena was admitted to the University of Miami School of Law School but after attending one semester in the day program, she decided to attend the night program in order to raise her two preschool aged sons during the day.
After graduating law school, she moved with her family to Palm Beach County where she began her legal career. She was a member of Palm Beach County Legal Aid Reduced Fee Panel while in private practice. Her specialties are Real Estate & Family Law. Hena is bilingual in Spanish & English and speaks conversational French. In her free time, Hena enjoys the gym, tennis & most outdoor activities.
