Laurie A. Cameron, Esquire, has been practicing law in the State of Florida for over 30 years. She graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 1991. Ms. Cameron is also a graduate of New College, Florida’s public honors college “educating free-thinkers, risk takers, and trailer blazers.” Ms. Cameron is a member of the Florida Bar, admitted to practice in the U.S. Supreme Court, the Middle District of Florida, and to the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit.
Ms. Cameron has an extensive and diverse legal background practicing in many areas of civil litigation as well as in family and criminal defense law. She has handled jury trials, countless bench trials, class-action and federal cases. Prior to joining the team at Travis Walker Law, she had her own law practice for twenty years.
Ms. Cameron has utilized her free time by providing pro bono legal services especially in the area of family law. Currently, she is writing a book concerning the domestic violence crisis, physical and emotional, in the United States and possible solutions to this increasing epidemic. She also provides legal and direct services to nonprofit greyhound groups in Florida. She is passionate about greyhounds and has been involved in adopting and fostering greyhounds for twenty-five years. She enjoys her time with family and friends and being outdoors.
